Eddie Butts is a former American football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins. He played in 12 games from 1987 to 1988, rushing for 112 yards and one touchdown.

Eddie Butts is also a musician who started his professional career at 13 and played with several bands throughout Florida. He formed his own band, The Eddie Butts Band, in 1976 and has performed with various artists such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, and The Spinners
