Jess Tinsley Jersey
Jess Tinsley was an American football player who played as a tackle and end in the NFL for the Chicago Cardinals from 1929 to 1933. He was born in Homer, Louisiana, and played college football at Louisiana State University, where he was selected All-Southern twice. He also played for the Louisville Bourbons in the American Football League in 1934 and made the AP All-League team. He later operated a chain of movie theaters in Jonesboro, Louisiana, and died in 1955 at his home in Ruston, Louisiana. He was the cousin of another LSU football star, Gaynell Tinsley.
Jess Tinsley was one of the early pioneers of professional football in the US. He played in the NFL when it was still a young and struggling league.
