Todd Peterson Jersey
Todd Peterson is a former American football placekicker who played for six different teams in the NFL from 1994 to 2005. He was drafted by the New York Giants in 1993, but did not debut until 1994 with the Arizona Cardinals. He had his best years with the Seattle Seahawks, where he was named the NFL Man of the Year in 1996. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Atlanta Falcons before retiring in 2006.
Peterson made 235 field goals out of 296 attempts, with a success rate of 79.4%. His longest field goal was 54 yards. He also scored 328 extra points out of 332 attempts, for a total of 1,033 points in his career. He ranks 34th on the all-time scoring list for NFL players.
Peterson was also a standout student-athlete at the University of Georgia, where he led the SEC in field goal percentage and was named the first GTE Academic All-American in more than a decade. He was also inducted into the University of Georgia’s highest order, Sphinx, in 1993.
